Maxie’s Annual Derby Day Party for Hunger Task Force is back with a 3-day celebration for the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby and a Derby-inspired menu, from Thursday, May 2 to Saturday, May 4.

Throughout the course of the party, winners of a Prize Raffle, a 50/50 cash raffle, and Best Dressed/Best Hat contests will be awarded. There will also be a Race Winner’s raffle to immediately follow the end of the race at approximately 6:00 p.m.

There are three donation levels for entry: Clubhouse,Grand Stand, and In-field.

Clubhouse: Reservations for the Clubhouse area include a buffet of Maxie’s Derby Menu food 2:30-5:30 p.m., a private cash bar away from the rest of the party, and a dedicated port-a-let for Clubhouse guests only. Reservations are $80 donations per person.

Grand Stand: Reserve your table inside Maxie’s with a guaranteed televised view of race coverage. Reservations are $40 donations per person. Tables of 2-8 guests will be available for seating between 2:00-3:30p.m. and is reserved until the race is over at approximately 6:00p.m. Reservations will include full service provided by Maxie’s staff. 

In-field: Doors open at 2:00p.m. for entry/access to the building and outside tents. Entry is a $20 donation per person if purchased prior to the day, $25 in-person on the day of the event. There will be limited table seating outside available on a first-come, first-serve basis. These tables will include outdoor service. 

An outdoor bar and food truck will also be providing Derby food, beer, wine, and cocktails for those who cannot get a table. Jackson Park Jazz Orchestra will be playing outside and there will be multiple TVs to view the race.
